Welcome
What is a Postpartum Doula?
A postpartum doula provides physical, emotional, and practical support to new parents during the postpartum period, which is typically the first few weeks or months after childbirth. My role is to help parents adjust to their new roles, facilitate bonding with their baby, and provide guidance on newborn care and feeding. I can assist with household tasks such as laundry and meal preparation, as well as providing emotional support. A postpartum doula can be especially helpful for parents who do not have a strong support system or who may be experiencing challenges with their mental or physical health.
